i would tap a voltmeter onto the O2 sensor wire right at the ECU and monitor the voltage. When you drive at part throttle, it should hover around .4 - .45 Volts. Use an analog meter.

Its entirely possible your o2 sensor is crapping out from rich conditions (lots of WOT with SC) or maybe its just dying. or you have a loose wire, or a bad connector etc.

The O2 CEL code could be caused by other problems. I finally found the cause of my code #1 by taking it to the dealer to plug in and check the ECU. It was the IAT circuit at fault, not the O2. The trip to the dealer for diagnostics was well worth it.

Blownaway, whats the possibility you were really throwing code 10, IAT, instead of code 1? Just a thought...

I yanked the AIT connector and there was the same code, one long flash.
Damn, is one long flash a 10? confused I always thought 10 was 10 flashes. I hate to think of all the work I've done and it was a code 10 all the time. mad
I don't know how many times I've read the Helms about the codes. Talk about humbling. mad mad mad mad

Yeah, if the IAT isn't plugged in, the CEL will activate once and then a very long pause. It looks like CEL1 but in actuality it's CEL10. I think it's retarded the way that Honda setup that CEL check system especilally with rich & lean CEL45 codes.
